The 28-year-old has been slapped with a $50K fine after attending a party without wearing a mask. He will also reportedly forfeit $816, 898 for missing two games the past week.

The six-time All-Star is reportedly sitting out due to personal reasons but was seen in a video of a party during his five-game absence. Nets head coach Steve Nash has shared his sentiments and is confident that the superstar point guard will be back at some point this season. (h/t Sporting News)

Ky’s still on personal leave, and all the communication with Ky between the organization, I’m going to keep private.

Irving will be eligible to play against the Orlando Magic once he completes the five-day quarantine and if he continues to test negative from COVID-19. Uncle Drew is currently averaging 27.1 points, 6.1 assists, and 5.3 rebounds in the seven games that he suited up for the Nets this season.

Brooklyn currently sits on the 6th spot in the East with a 7-6 win-loss slate. They have recently revamped their roster after landing a prime superstar and former MVP James Harden via a four-team powerhouse trade.
